Ο Ευρωπαϊκός Επιταχυντής για την Μουσική Βιομηχανία JUMP παρέχει ένα πλαίσιο εκπαιδευτικής και επαγγελματικής κατάρτισης για την ανάπτυξη καινοτόμων επιχειρηματικών μοντέλων στη Μουσική Βιομηχανία.

Σκοπός του JUMP είναι να βοηθήσει τους ανθρώπους της μουσικής να ανταπεξέρθουν στις ραγδαίες εξελίξεις της αγοράς, ενθαρρύνοντας τους να εργαστούν σε διακρατικό επίπεδο.

Ο Ευρωπαϊκός Επιταχυντής Μουσικής JUMP διοργανώθηκε από ένα δίκτυο έξι αναγνωρισμένων Ευρωπαϊκών Φεστιβάλ και συνεδρίων (MaMA, Un-Convention, MIL, Athens Music Week – European Music Day, Nouvelle Prague και Linecheck), με στόχο την υποστήριξη επαγγελματιών της μουσικής  για την ανάπτυξη καινοτόμων επιχειρηματικών μοντέλων.

Το JUMP θα προσφέρει τρεις υποτροφίες για τη διάρκειά του (2018-2022), το καθένα από τα οποία θα πραγματοποιηθεί αντίστοιχα το 2019, το 2020 και το 2021.

Κάθε χρόνο, 10 έως 20 συμμετέχοντες από όλη την Ευρώπη θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να αναπτύξουν το έργο τους και να επωφεληθούν παράλληλα από εκτεταμένη κατάρτιση και εξατομικευμένη εκπαίδευση, για εννέα μήνες.

Το JUMP συγχρηματοδοτείται από το πρόγραμμα Δημιουργική Ευρώπη της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής και διοργανώνεται από ένα ευρωπαϊκό δίκτυο φημισμένων και καινοτόμων μουσικών συνεδρίων, φεστιβάλ και showcase που περιλαμβάνει τους παρακάτω εταίρους

JUMP is a European Music Market Accelerator provides a framework to support music professionals to develop innovative business models.

It aims to help Music sector and Industry professionals such as artists-entrepreneurs, Event managers, promoters, Artistic Directors or Music related Cultural & Social Innovators, adapt to the recent transformations of the market, develop innovative and sustainable business models while encouraging them to work on a transnational level.

In order to partake in the construction of a more solid Europe, JUMP partners wish to foster the emergence of a united and dynamic music industry, strong of its protected and promoted cultural diversity. With that goal in mind, JUMP is conceived as a prospective European programme which aims at enhancing the professional development of artist entrepreneurs, festival promoters and service providers in terms of competence, network, and innovative potential as well as in their knowledge of the different mechanisms at play.

Organised by a network of six acclaimed European Festival and Conventions (MaMA, Un-Convention, MIL, European Music Day, Nouvelle Prague and Linecheck), JUMP provides a series of events, workshops, networking and business opportunities for music professionals to develop innovative business models.

Aiming to support a better professional adaptability to the major transformations of our times and at offering more equal opportunities, JUMP will offer three fellowships over its duration (2018-2022), each taking place respectively in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Fellowship details will be announced soon and will encompass mentoring and tutoring courses, project acceleration and many networking activities during the following Festival and conventions (among others) :

  • Un-Convention, 5-11 March 2019 in Manchester – UK
  • MIL, 27-29 March 2019 in Lisbon – Portugal
  • European Music Day & the Athens Music Week, 19-23 June 2019 in Athens – Greece
  • MaMA, 16-18 October 2019 in Paris – France
  • Nouvelle Prague, 8-9 November 2019 in Prague – Czech Republic
  • Linecheck, 18-24 November 2019 in Milan – Italy
For nine months each year, 10 to 20 participants coming from all over Europe will have the opportunity to develop their ideas and to benefit in parallel from an extensive training and a personalised tutorship. JUMP is designed with a strong focus on different complementary and interrelated objectives.
  • Objective 1
    JUMP is designed as a andragogic experiment for lifelong training of music industry professionals developing innovative business models through accompaniment, direct training and networking.
    It is creating a network of professionals from different areas of the music sector working directly together on enhancing their entrepreneurial skills. Through a set of tools comprised of panels, workshops, webinars, pitch-sessions, networking activities, JUMP will enable its participants to develop their knowledge along with new skills in relation with the evolution of the sector.
  • Objective 2
    JUMP is focused on accelerating new business models developed by music industry professionals. With a sharp selection of the most promising projects, a strong curiculum of activities designed on the specific needs of the selected profiles and a close follow up of the development of these projects, JUMP will not only act on capacity building for new business models but also promote it strongly throughout the European Music Market and beyond.
  • Objective 3
    JUMP is using transnational mobility as a tool as well as an main objective. By taking professionals who are developing new projects to discover other markets and regions, to learn to work with peers from other areas and discover opportunities that they might not see from where they are located, by taking them regularly to professional music industry events of other regions, JUMP will foster habits, networks and opportunities that will live on and multiply after the end of the project.
 

JUMP is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Commission, coordinated by MaMA Festival and Convention (FR) and implemented by a network composed of Un-Convention (UK), C.T.L (PT), M.E.S.O (GR), Nouvelle Prague (CZ) and ELITA (IT).

Creative Europe is the European Commission’s framework programme for support to the culture and audiovisual sectors. The different funding schemes available encourage the audiovisual,
cultural and creative players to operate across Europe, to reach new audiences and to develop the skills needed in the digital age. By helping European cultural and audiovisual works to reach audiences in other countries, the programme will also contribute to safeguarding cultural and linguistic diversity.
