What is the European Music Day? Nothing less than the country’s biggest open air and entrance-free musical gathering!
A true celebration dedicated to Music, Musicians, our cities and their people.
A celebration that brings people together, offering them a chance to enjoy sounds and images from all over the world. People all over the country are having the privilege of enjoying a huge range of musical styles. At the same time, hundreds of artists are being given the chance to present their work to a diverse audience.
This year, central dates will be held between the 19th and 21st of June and you are bound to run into them in one of the numerous of stages that will be set in more than 25 cities all over Greece.
In 2013 the European Music Day organization will count on its brand new web page and many new concepts and project will be launched, including new software Athens Music Matchmaker or our pilot participation in the European Music Cluster Project, developed in collaboration between I.N.P.O. AISBL European Music Day Association, European Music Day Greek Coordinator (N.P.O. MESO Music Events) and EURICCA organization.
